The Vicar
The Reverend Canon David Kitley was instituted as vicar here on March 31 2009, so began his first full day's work on April 1st!
He was previously Vicar of Christchurch, Dartford, where he had served since 1991, and is an honorary Canon of both Rochester Cathedral and Mpwapwa Cathedrals in Tanzania.
As part of his role here, he is also Bishop’s Advisor for Diocesan Links; one day a week. This involve working with and for churches and church leaders in Tanzania, Zimbabwe (Harare) and Estonia.
He has a wife, Cathie, and two children — a son Jonathan (born 1987) and a daughter Helen (born 1992).
