Children and Young People
Crèche is available during the 10.30 am service on Sundays, where babies and toddlers can be cared for during all, or part, of the service, as seems appropriate to their parent.
Tots' Praise is for babies, toddlers and pre-school children with their parent or carer. There are twenty minutes of songs, bible stories and simple prayers in the church, followed by coffee and playtime in the Centre. It takes place on the first Friday in every month.
Sunday Club is for children between the ages of 3 and 10 years and meets every Sunday at the same time as the 10.30 am service. The children stay in the church for the first hymn and a prayer before going across to the Centre for their own activities.
St Mary Church has received authorisation for children to receive Holy Communion, preceded by a training course, with a view to them being confirmed later.
Youth Group is for young people aged 11 to 16 years and meets every Sunday morning at 10.30. There are also evening social activities once a month on a Sunday evening.
The Family Service on the second Sunday takes place in The Parish Centre. It is an informal service particularly suitable for those who would normally attend Tots' Praise, Crèche, Sunday Club and Youth Group, or are thinking about baptism. It can also be an easy introduction to coming to church again or for the first time.

St Mary's Monkeys: This Toddler Group is for children of a pre-school age. Please join us every Wednesday from 10.00 'til 11.30am in The Parish Centre. It is also a chance for us to meet together while our children play.
We are now on our Summer Break, but will be meeting on Wednesday 10th August from 10.00 'til 11.30am.
Term dates Autumn 2011 (every Wednesday):

Our Christmas Party will be on Wednesday 14th December, with a Christmas Dressing Up theme!
