Some very good news! You will all be pleased to know that the objection received about an element in the proposed scheme for the division of the three benefices has been withdrawn.
This was received in writing and after discussion at the next meeting of the Counsellors in late June, we shall legally become three separate benefices with our own Vicars on July 1st if all runs to plan.
This means that we shall then be able to begin the advertising progress for our new incumbent.
This was so unexpected but after over two years we will be moving forward towards the end of the interregnum as the benefice of St Mary Kippington.
